Background
Mark Fuoco is a graduate of Edinboro University in Edinboro, Pennsylvania. In 1977, he received a bachelor of Fine Arts in Oil Painting. In 1979, he moved to Sacramento, California to pursue his career as an artist.
Mark Fuoco's "Kinetic Network" television show aired on Sacramento Cable from 1987 to 1991. This show dealt with performance art and multimedia art forms.
In 1988 he was the recipient of a National Endowment for the Arts Grant, and he has also received grants from the Sacramento Metropolitan Arts Commission.
In 1992, Mark started "Mark Fuoco's Creative Finishes," and now works as an interior color specialist in homes and for businesses. Recently, one of his modernist homes was featured in the Sacramento Bee's publication California Life. The Watkins Company hired Mr. Fuoco to create murals and decorate the lobby with marbleizing in Sacramento's newest high rise.
Mark Fuoco teaches Decorative Painting for The Learning Exchange at his East Sacramento art studio / warehouse.
Mark Fuoco's Galleries sells oil paintings and commissioned works for homes and businesses.
Mr. Fuoco plans to open a large interactive gallery/learning center for the arts in midtown Sacramento next year.
